Introduction to the American University International Education Alliance

美国大学国际教育联盟由美国圣路易斯大学等大学发起成立，旨在推动美国大学和中国大学、中学的直接合作与交流。大学联盟由11所美国中西部研究型大学及文理学院组成。文理学院代表着经典，小规模，高质量的本科精英教育。统计显示，文理学院的毕业生占美国所有大学毕业生的3%，而19％的美国总统、20%的美国国家科学院院士、8%的《福布斯》杂志排行榜上最富有CEO、20%的美国大学优等生荣誉学会的会员都毕业于文理学院。我们熟知的乔布斯、奥巴马、希拉里、宋庆龄三姐妹、王力宏等都毕业于文理学院。

Founded by St. Louis University and other universities, the American University International Education Alliance aims to promote direct cooperation and exchange between American universities and Chinese universities, and secondary schools. The University Alliance consists of 11 Midwestern research universities and liberal arts colleges. The College of Arts and Sciences represents a classic, small-scale, high-quality undergraduate elite education. Statistics show that liberal arts college graduates account for 3% of all college graduates in the United States, while 19% of U.S. presidents, 20 percent of the members of the National Academy of Sciences, 8% of the Forbes magazine's richest CEOs, and 20 percent of members of American Colleges graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. We know Jobs, Obama, Hillary, Song Qingling three sisters, Wang Lihong and so on graduated from the Liberal Arts College.
